| Begin your day at theMount of Olives visiting theChurch of the Ascension and theChurch of Pater Noster.Enjoy the magnificent panorama of the Old City from the lookout and then walk down to the Franciscan church of Dominus Flevit. Continue to theChurch of All Nations in the Garden of Gethsemane. Proceed toBethlehem, Shepherd’s Fields and theChurch of the Nativity. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and over night.(BD) |

| Enter the walled city and walk through the newly restored Jewish Quarter. Visit theRoman Cardo, Herodian Quarter and continue to theWestern Wall.Visit theChurch of St. Anneand the Pool of Bethsaida,where Jesus healed the paralytic man, Walk along theVia Dolorosaand the Via Dolorosa,Stations of the Crossto theChurch of the Holy Sepluchre. | Today, visit theTomb of King Davidand Room of the Last Supperon Mt. Zion andDormition Abbey, the spot where the Virgin Mary fell into her eternal sleep. Depart the area of the old city and drive to theChurch of St Peter in Gallicantu.Depart for the Israel Museum,site of the miniature re creation of Jerusalem as it was during the time of the 2nd Temple and home of theShrine of the Book,where many of the Dead Sea Scrolls are on display. Following your full Israeli breakfast at the hotel, check out and depart towards the Galilee, stopping first atYad Vashem,memorial to the Holocaust. Tour the Children’s Memorial, the hall of Remembrance and the Museum. Stop atQumranto learn of its history and later enjoy a “float” in the mineral rich waters of theDead Seabefore continuing north to the Galilee.

| Today, visitCapernaum,centre of Jesus’ Ministry. Located here are the ruins of an ancient synagogue and the site of Peter’s House. VisitTabghaandMount of Beatitudes.Visit theChurch of the Primacy of St Peterwhere Jesus ended his ministry. Drive along theGolan Heightsdescending at the south end of the Sea of Galilee andYardenit, the traditionalBaptismal site at the Jordan River. End the day at the Tamar B’Kfar farm and learn of the history and family who came from Russia 100 years ago to establish a date farm and time for free tasting of the various types of dates grown in the Galilee. | Check out this morning and proceed toMount Tabor.Ascend the narrow winding mountain road by taxis. Time to pray at theChurch of the Transfiguration and enjoy the beautiful far reaching landscapes below. Drive towards Tel Aviv and the ancient port ofJaffa; see thehouse of Simon the Tannerand free time to visit the artists quarter. Enjoy a farewell dinner before your transfer to the airport for security clearance and flight check in. (BD) |
