Visit Safed, a center of Jewish mysticism for hundreds of years and a contemporary artists' colony, Gan Hashlosha (Sachne) to enjoy the water springs located at the foot of the Gilboa mountain where King Saul was killed in the battle against the Philistines. Go and see Masada - the Jewish Zealots' last stand against the Roman legionnaires - and float in the Dead Sea.
